Offer Description
The PhD topic deals with the study and reactor modelling of catalysts for the reforming of biogas in an innovative thermal process.
The student will have to implement catalysts in a laboratory-scale pyrolysis reactor. The study will focus on microwave heating technology, in particular on wave-solid interactions and on wave and temperature modeling in the reactor. The catalysts after use will be characterized by the techniques of the state of the art.
The work is part of a European program with multiple academic and industrial partners. The results of the studies will be presented at EU workshops and conferences.
The PhD student will have access to cutting edges Microwave equipments and to the Scientific Platform of IRCELYON and tools on the campus of Lyon.
